Jesus tells us that, if we seek him, we shall find him among the poor. If we follow where he leads, we will discover that it is the slums and ghettos of the world today that are our modern Galilee.

It is there that Jesus, having gone ahead of us is calling us to follow because it is from the community of the poor that God’s blessings are found and are shared with the whole of Creation.
