Because we don’t perceive God’s actions correctly, we end up conspiring to harm, even to kill God in an attempt to protect God.
We reject and destroy that which is meant to save us.
It’s hard to hear someone pointing out our shortcomings. It’s hard to take medicine – particularly of the moral nature. Sometimes with good reason. (Both ways.)
Yet being willing to do that, to seek deeper insight and to treat the “words” with curiosity, we have a chance to either change the situation and overcome the issue, or at least to not behave destructively to ourselves and to others.
