Solar Thermal Airconditioning

Science

After a couple of weeks of temperatures like we’ve been having here in the U.S., this bit of news sounds very interesting:

“A company in Florida has what they say is the answer to cheaper and easier air conditioning, using a relatively low temperature solar thermal heat source combined with the Stirling cycle and a few additional tweaks. The hotter it gets, the better it works apparently.”

Figures. We just installed air-conditioning in the parish I serve.
