In the meantime, there’s work to be done…

Current Affairs / World Mission

One of our former parishioners, a woman who grew up in the New Orleans region, has felt a call to respond in some way to the devastation caused by the hurricanes last summer.

After careful thought, she has committed herself to working to rebuild the kitchen of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in New Orleans. She’s decided that this concrete action, of re-equipping the fellowship heart of a parish, is the most effective way that she and her friends can respond.

She and her family have setup a website to coordinate and publicize this work. You can find more information about her project at St. Paul’s Kitchen. You can help with material goods, or make a donation to the project through PayPal. You can also consider passing this web-link on to other people you know that might have an interest in helping out as well.

Thanks for giving this worthy project your consideration!
