Please ignore this post. I’m testing the ability of WordPress to host my sermon audio files directly. (I’ve been using another service, but I’m not seeing an advantage to using it anymore.)
Looks like it’s working about as well as the other service that I use. Are you able to listen to the file? (Or do I need to transcode it to mp3 before uploading? It works on my laptop, but may not work universally.)
Works fine in Chrome browser, running under Windows 7. -Jerry.
Thanks! Might then just have saved myself a step.
Works fine for me – Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, in
Chrome 24.0.1312.57 m
Firefox 18.0.1
IE 9.0.8112.16421
What plugin are you using?
Worked like a champ on my Android tablet running 4.0.4. On my Android phone running 2.3.6, it needed to download the file, and then I had to navigate to the downloaded file and select the file to play – yuck. I believe an MP3 would play in any player on any device.
The sermon came through loud and clear on my iPhone!
It doesn’t work on my smartphone (an Android), but it might not be important to enable smartphone listening.
You did it again! Just listened to full sermon via your new service on Android phone: all is clear, both the medium and the message. I’ll look forward to more…
