In the office at Trinity Cathedral

Thanks all of you for the notes and prayers for a safe trip. It was totally safe and basically un-remarkable. I’m writing this now firmly ensconced in my new office at the Cathedral.

The highlight of the last day, besides arriving in Phoenix to a glorious rainbow above the city, was the extraordinary scenery in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. I made any number of mental notes about places to come back to once my family and I are settled here in the southwest. I had no idea it was so incredibly beautiful here.

I’ll have more to say about things – plus even some thoughts about what’s been going on in the national church over the past week once I get myself all wired up again. (And had a chance to read up on what happened in the New York meeting.)
