“Thank you”

Weblogs

I’m sitting here in a hotel room in Lebanon TN and thinking about what the last 24 hours have been like. I want to say THANK YOU to the people of Trinity, Bethlehem for their generosity and love which they shared with me and my family yesterday. Thank you for the gifts, for the icon of the Trinity but most of all for letting me work beside you these past eight years as your Rector, priest and friend. As I said yesterday, I have learned at least as much from you and you claim to have learned from me.

I’m especially delighted with the gift of the icon of the Holy Trinity. As I use it to gather my thoughts and prayers in the days and years to come, I will be reminded of our relationships and of the work that God in Jesus Christ allowed us to accomplish. I know that God is calling you to do many more wonderful things in the place you have been called to serve in ministry.

  1. I too would like to thank the people of Trinity Bethleham. As a member of Trinity Phoenix, I would like to thank you for the care that you have given to the Knisley family, and for allowing and helping Nick to become the priest that he is today. You will remain in our prayers as you start your search process.
