“5. She may in fact be a breath of fresh air in the Episcopal Church. Kendall Harmon is suggesting that of all the candidates she is the one least beholden to the structures of the Episcopal Church. Furthermore, she will have to think through many of her current views in the light of her desire to be a reconciler, and the role she has as a focus of unity within the Episcopal Church. She may do better than her predecessor.”
