This is not an alliance I would have imagined happening. Looks like people are realizing that caring for the environment is going to be more than just a fringe issue in the coming months. I wonder if we’ll see more such strategic political alliances happen as the election draws near.
“The United Steel Workers and the Sierra Club have formed the Blue/Green Alliance, where they will be working together on common issues of the environment and jobs. This joins the largest manfacturing union and the largest environmental organization together to work for some common goals.”
