AM – South African Govt warns against antiretrovirals

ELIZABETH JACKSON: South Africa’s Health Minister has publicly claimed that people are dying from the side effects from antiretroviral drugs used for treating HIV, and has advised people to turn to a diet of beetroot, lemon juice and olive oil instead.

The comments have reignited the AIDS debate in South Africa, where the Government is accused of denying the severity of the disease.”

There was a piece on BBC World News last night about Swaziland. People who are in denial about the real causes and effective responses to the disease of AIDS are condemning millions of people to death. Even in Swaziland where there is a coming Tsunami of death, you can still find people claiming that AIDS is western hoax.
