Ubuntu Mix

My friend Mel Ahlborn, the driving force behind ECVA, has created the following iTunes mix for General Convention.

(It’s comprised of the tunes that will be quietly played as people are coming into the worship space and before the beginning of the preludes for the daily eucharists in Anaheim.)

  1. Can I just say–this list is so Baby-Boomer it isn’t even funny…

  2. You certainly can. I think I recognize the names of all the artists, though with the exception of “We are the World”, I’ve not heard any of the tunes.

  3. Linda says:

Other than in “We are the World”, no African American artists. And we baby boomers liked them, witness the outpouring for MJ. “Man in the Mirror” would have been most appropriate.

  4. srsly, this makes me feel YOUNG.
