Twittering to you

So I’m using Twitter finally. (Actually I’ve had an account there for a while, but I’ve been using to read other people’s posts till now.)

But thanks to friends (I’m looking at you particularly Helen) I get what the big deal is now. I’ve been sitting in a lecture by Diana Butler Bass on the mission of communication in an emergent church. Rather than just jotting notes to myself, I started twittering them. Suddenly I was having conversations with the “cloud” whilst listening to the lecture. Very social networky. And I realize why other people have been finding this sort of interaction so compelling.

Follow my Twitterings here if you like.

One Response to Twittering to you

  1. It does not help that I’ve managed to break into the social media a-list there and found my social-media social life explode.
But it’s not a bad thing, either. I’m learning from them, too!
